Rules of the road while we are still pre-pilot.

By creating an account or otherwise using ARRETIA, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the legal entity you represent. If you do not have authority to bind that entity, do not proceed.

Pre-pilot access is provided free of charge for evaluation purposes. ARRETIA may modify, suspend or terminate access at any time with 30 days' notice for convenience, or immediately for cause (security incident, abuse, regulatory requirement).

You will not (i) attempt to bypass authentication or RLS isolation, (ii) submit data you do not have the right to share, (iii) impersonate another economic operator, (iv) issue Digital Product Passports for products you do not place on market as the rEO, (v) scrape the registry beyond your tenant scope, or (vi) reverse engineer the cryptographic verification path.

You retain ownership of all data you submit. ARRETIA holds a limited license to process that data solely to operate the platform on your behalf and to satisfy the audit-trail obligations imposed by ESPR (EU 2024/1781) Art. 9 + Art. 10.

The platform is provided “as is” during pre-pilot. We do not warrant fitness for a particular regulatory submission. Issuing a DPP through this platform does not exempt you from your direct obligations under EU law as the responsible economic operator.

To the extent permitted by EU law, ARRETIA's aggregate liability under this evaluation is limited to direct damages and capped at €1,000 or the fees paid in the preceding 12 months (whichever is higher). Liability for gross negligence and wilful misconduct is not limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Barcelona, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection forum.

This pre-pilot stub will be replaced by a counsel-reviewed commercial agreement before general availability. Material changes will be announced to evaluation participants at least 30 days in advance.
